Where to Now , may I ask ?

I am marginalized but it is of my own making .
I have failed to rise to a level of competence .
I have the ability to observe and to sympathize but these skills are not required in a society where the mantra is " dog eat dog " .
Oh how I yearn to see those who are worse off than I , for it gives me a feeling of hope , all be it an illusion or false hope .
